SBF official GE latest Result

WP is indeed strong. nationwide vote swing against oppo. they can still get 46% in Tampines and 44% in Punggol. what a pity.
when you look at the rest of the parties you shouldn't be surprised that some of them are getting 20%. Sinkies want oppo but they are fucking fussy -- it's like eating bread, I want roti but it must be branded. some of the candidates look like they just came from running their pasar malam stalls

it's shocking they got 20%. the oppo basic support is around 25-30%. they got no middle ground votes and even lost oppo votes.

Punggol and East Coast voters are bastards, they went to WP rally to create the fake impression and then quietly voted pap

Bastards

Wait I might be wrong.. think can allow two this time..
The formula is : No. of NCMPs = 12Total No. of Elected Opposition MPs in Parliament (Ref: https://capesingapore.com/gebasics/2025/)

I also not sure..but will be interesting with both Andre and CSJ in parliament.

Grok AI confirimed its 2 NCMPs liao under current scenario:

Possible Scenarios

Since GE 2025 results aren’t available (it’s Polling Day, May 3, 2025, at 11:07 PM +08, after polls closed at 8:00 PM), we can estimate based on prior analysis:
  • If WP retains its 2020 seats (10) and no other opposition wins, the calculation is: 12 – 10 = 2 NCMPs. These would likely go to the best-performing losers from WP, PSP, or SDP, provided they secure at least 15% of votes in their constituencies.
  • If opposition wins more seats, say 12 (e.g., WP wins Sengkang GRC, Aljunied GRC, Hougang SMC, and adds East Coast GRC), then: 12 – 12 = 0 NCMPs.
  • If opposition wins fewer seats, say 6 (e.g., losing Sengkang GRC but retaining Aljunied GRC and Hougang SMC), then: 12 – 6 = 6 NCMPs.

Constraints

  • No more than 2 NCMPs can come from a single GRC, and no more than 1 from an SMC.
  • Candidates must be from an opposition party and secure at least 15% of votes in their constituency to qualify.

Jalan Kayu WP 48%

Sembawang West SDP 47%

These are sample count … please wait for the final results.

I hope the oppositions can get 50.01% in these 2 SMCs ..

Jalan Kayu still got chance for WP. Possibility of a recount.

This part is tricky

No more than 2 NCMPs can come from a single GRC, and no more than 1 from an SMC.
