After 2 decades, most S'poreans are still unable to see the so-called benefits of the Govt signing CECA. It appears to be a lopsided contract that benefits Indian citizens far more than S'poreans. I personally have not met a single local who has gone to work or invest in India. I cannot believe how naïve our negotiators were; our overrated and overpaid ministers must have been sleepwalking while concluding the deal. Even when it was plainly obvious that CECA only benefits India, the insecure PAP dared to accuse us of being racist when we pointed out the drawbacks of this agreement. Many provided feedback on CECAs retrenching S'poreans to be replaced by Indians, but our govt accused SG PMEs of having unrealistic expectations and told us to be prepared to face foreign competition for our jobs. CECA employers and managers were emboldened to retrench even more S'poreans. I really fear for young S'poreans when we know that the PAP is capable of treason.
