East Coast Plan unveiled

They will give him letter but tell the whole world he give letter bcos of short runway
This happens often in the private sector when older staff are deemed to have outstayed their welcome in a company. It also saves the employer having to dish out any retrenchment benefits.

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri!
Spent a wonderful morning with congregants and the Muslim community at Masjid Al-Ansar.
It’s a blessing that we can celebrate our ethnic and religious festivals in peace and harmony here in Singapore. I am grateful to the mosque committee and volunteers for giving us such a warm welcome!
I wish our Muslim friends a joyous time celebrating with your families and loved ones during this much cherished occasion.

HSK is grateful. :notworthy::thumbsup::tongue:

Grateful for a heartwarming encounter during my house visits on a rainy evening.
The Oh family showed me photos and videos taken when we met at last year’s Mid Autumn celebrations! Thank you for your encouragement to my team and me. We will continue working towards a more caring, vibrant, and green home for all.
I look forward to more meaningful conversations and gatherings ahead! Do check out We Love Bedok and East Coast Buzz for our upcoming events.

Bonjour from Paris.

2025 is the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Singapore and France diplomatic relations, and both sides are working towards elevating our ties through a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
Over the decades, our countries have cultivated a strong bilateral relationship with longstanding partnerships in many fields, including in science and technology. The 4th edition of our France-Singapore Joint Committee on Science and Innovation (JCSI) will be convened tomorrow in Paris.
I look forward to my meetings with French political, business and academic leaders over the next few days.

The Bedok Seniors Wellness Day is a meaningful student-led initiative organised by Temasek Junior College, in collaboration with Bedok Youth Network.
With the goal of helping our seniors age well physically and mentally, there were plenty of booths, games, and activities such as basketball, bowling, jigsaw puzzles, and even a light Zumba workout for everyone.
Our volunteer hairstylists were also on hand to give free haircuts to our seniors.
My thanks to the always cheerful students from TJC and Springfield Secondary School for taking the lead, and to partners ActiveSG Circle, Kimage Hairdressing School, Brands for Good, and MS Atelier, for your support.
By bringing our youth and seniors together, we can learn from each other, while helping to brighten each other’s lives.

East Coast has one of the highest numbers of seniors in Singapore.
And as we care for them, they continue to contribute meaningfully to the community. They bring wisdom, strength, ideas, and a youthfulness that often gets overlooked.
We will continue to care for our seniors and tap on them to build our community together.

As we look ahead to the next chapter for East Coast, I want to express my deepest gratitude to Cheryl Chan 陈慧玲 and Dr Maliki Osman for their dedicated service and contributions to our community.
Cheryl has been a strong advocate for the residents of Fengshan and East Coast, always listening closely and acting with thoughtfulness and care. Her commitment to building a more inclusive and sustainable community has left a meaningful legacy.
Dr Maliki has served with an unwavering heart over the years. His tireless efforts to uplift families, support youth and champion interfaith harmony have touched many lives. His deep sense of empathy and steady leadership will be dearly missed.
I have had the privilege of serving alongside them, and I thank them both for walking this journey with me and our East Coast team.
Wishing Cheryl and Dr Maliki all the very best in their next chapter. Your contributions will always be remembered by the East Coast family.

45 years.
One quiet mission — to serve.
From patrols on the ground to policies in the Cabinet,
From a stroke survivor’s second chance to a nation’s shared dreams — every step has been for Singapore.
I’ve met hearts that inspire, hands that give,
and a people who never stop believing.
Now, it’s time to pass the baton.
To those ready to lead with courage, with care.
To PM Lawrence Wong. To our East Coast team.
Thank you for letting me walk this journey with you.
It has been my life’s honour.
Let’s keep building. Together.

HSK thanks everyone.

Thank you, fellow Singaporeans.
Since I announced my retirement from politics, I have received warm wishes from many of you – in person, as well as through your comments and messages on social media. I have read through all of them and am truly touched by your kind words and support!
I would also like to express my heartfelt appreciation to the residents of East Coast, as well as our dedicated grassroots leaders and volunteers, for your strong support in building a better East Coast with my team of advisers. It has been a very meaningful and fulfilling journey.
A big thank you to everyone!

It sounds like the SM and PM retired HSK. It was not his decision.

Noted that he thanked everyone...................... except his bosses.:eek::biggrin:
Do not forget that LHL handed the PM's post to LW, and LW gave HSK the golden handshake after that to add insult to injury. HSK's days were numbered after the promised PM's job was stolen from him, and handed to LW. He was a dead man walking after he fumbled his East Coast Plan speech.

HSK thanks East Coast residents.

Happy to support our People's Action Party’s East Coast candidates in the last day of campaigning, especially our two new ones – Dinesh Vasu Dash தினேஷ் வாசு தாஸ் 迪內希 and Hazlina Abdul Halim!
We were at Blk 216 Bedok market this morning, and met many residents and stallholders who thanked us for serving East Coast in the last 5 years. Many told us of the improvements – a cleaner, greener living environment, a more caring and cohesive place, and a more vibrant place filled with arts, culture and activities for all ages.
We are very heartened to hear that we’ve made a difference!
I am very grateful that so many residents expressed their appreciation, including this couple, who went to get a bouquet of flowers to thank me after seeing me! How lovely – I’m bringing this bouquet home to my wife – it is her support that has enabled me to spend so much time away from home!
Thank you once again to all East Coast residents!
Do give your support to our new team – Edwin Tong, Tan Kiat How, Jessica Tan Soon Neo, Dinesh and Hazlina!
Let them make East Coast even better! As they say, “East Side, Best Side!”
❤️
