The "5Cs" refer to the materialistic aspirations of Cash, Car, Credit Card, Condo and Country Club membership. Less than 20% live in condos and less than 10% own cars. I don't have the figures for the remaining 3Cs, but 10% sounds about right since not all the members of a condo household own it - just perhaps 1 or 2 are the registered owners.

According to PM LW, the 5Cs are materialistic aspirations of Cash, Car, Credit Card, Condominium and Country Club membership that S'poreans no longer seek and this concept is now outdated. Who the "F" is he to tell us that S'poreans seek more than material success, when our Ministers will not come forward to "serve" the country for anything less than $1 million per year in wages!
