What's the point of buying the latest smartphone?

To save moolah...one can. Buy a mid ranger Android phone n change every 2 years 3 times n still cheaper than a single faggot phone
Agree, Apple is too expensive. But Apple is safest in terms of software and phishing

So i take over whichever used Apple phone from family members and pay $80-120 for a battery change.

Apple is so safe that u cannot just walk into a repair shop to change battery. There are several steps needed to bypass the security settings, to change a battery.

Why are the Amerikaninas so afraid and protectionists whenever China is the exporter?
Because the US have been using mobile devices as spy tools. They know where you've been, see who, say what, doing what....... That's why Huawei was banned. US know truly well how these devices can be used against them.

are u currently using apple or samsung?

If you buy on lazada during sales, six month after launch, got a lot of lelong brand new sets. Eg. Samsung Ultra is now 40% cheaper for local set with 12 months warranty on Lazada. Apple also selling latest Iphone cheaper on Lazada if you stack the discount coupons.

Only buy local sets, with full 12 months local warranty.
  • Not HK set (don't support eSim)
  • Not Telco set (shorter warranties)
  • Not used set

I also don't see any reason to buy the latest smartphone if your current phone works well. It's all about functionality! If you're looking to upgrade eventually, checking out Phobio reviews could be helpful. They offer trade-in options that can make upgrading more worthwhile and budget-friendly without the rush.
