The moment after the coup, India allowed the sale of electricity to bangladesh.
The PM refused to allow US Military permanent base near Bangladesh tiny island,, next to India and Myanmar to counter Chinese ports nearby. The newly appointed America ambassador in Bagladesh is suspicious for causing the riots. It was a big news in India, and Modi is not very pleased with America for trying to topple Bangladesh PM. America deny causing the riot but never deny wanting to set up military base next to Bangladesh. You need to read between the line. America has bad history of toppling other nations' governments.
