SINGAPORE: A person was taken to hospital after a crane toppled and crushed a van at a worksite in Sengkang on Tuesday (Apr 9).
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the traffic accident at the junction of Punggol Road and Compassvale Street at about 4.55pm.

One person was taken to Sengkang General Hospital.

A CNA reader said that the road from Punggol Road to Compassvale Street was blocked at about 5.30pm.
CNA has contacted the police, the Ministry of Manpower and PUB for more information.
