Yes I understand what you mean. But its the employers whom have hired and selected their PR employees. Obviously the government has to grant them something, if not where got so many talents coming toSingapore to help contribute? The PRs help to contribute to our society of course we must grant them back something as a form of appreciation right? Furthermore the PRs also do CPF contributions, pay income taxes, GST and all the whatever taxes too. 3 cheers for PAP

Well that is quite true too. But you also have to know that certain job designations requires certain form of expertise and experience and not every Singaporeans has them yet. That is the reason why foreigners are hired to do these jobs and Singaporeans can actually learn from them to have the skill set.

i think you are only referring to the 15% employment pass holders.
we should cut down on the work permits and
drastically reduce S-pass holders or impose higher levy on S-pass - they are the main competitors for the poly grad level jobs.

don't forget, PRs also get to enjoy for free the peace and security provided by our NS men.

lately new CDF has been blocking reservist deferments, many unhappy employers around as mindef refuse to defer ict liability even for urgent projects.

mindef is not helping in our drive to increase productivity by being so unreasonable about deferments for work related commitments.

Yes the government is doing that. Anyway the E-P holers, S-pass holders and work permit holders does not have all the benefits as the Singaporeans and the PRs. So after all its still manageable. 3 cheers for the PAP.

It is just an open debate, since you cannot meet the expectation of all questions posted to you answered, I rest my case thinking all PAP members and Minister are some what alike, hiding and avoiding the key issue.
