Scientists develop a camera that's 'the size of a grain of salt'

https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/59483432

Scientists in the United States have developed a tiny camera that they say is "the size of a coarse grain of salt".
This new camera can produce clear, full-colour images that are as good as ones taken with camera lenses that are 500,000 times bigger in size.
While scientists have developed tiny cameras before, the pictures they have taken have been blurry and the quality of the images hasn't been very good.
Traditionally, cameras rely on a number of curved pieces of glass or plastic known as 'lenses' to keep images clear which limits how small cameras can be, however this one uses different technology to get around this - meaning the camera is tiny AND takes clear pictures!

10yrs ago, there are already talk to use multiple thin film stack as a micro battery for implants

attach it to a nanodrone and it can find lobang and may be enter too.

Maybe use IR as a alternative light source?
colonoscopy needs to be clear and bright to differentiate between sai and polyps, same standard as porn.

IR light will give black and white images, hidden porn cameras more blurry and no details.

I heard there are some advanced research where they use other light wavelength for better characterization of small tumor
..but nothing in public domain yet

my understanding is that, if they can see it, they will want to take it out to test it, be it on lungs, kidney or intestines, so the device need to offer the option of collecting tissue samples.
