SINGAPORE: Travellers can expect very heavy traffic at Singapore's two land checkpoints over the upcoming Christmas and New Year's Day long weekends, the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) said on Tuesday (Dec 19).

Crossings at the Woodlands and Tuas checkpoints have surged, and security measures have also been stepped up in view of the situation in the Middle East, ICA said in an advisory.

Travel by trains. Guarantee not more than 300 passengers at the Checkpoint. Got 6 counters handling 300 passengers, excluding the auto gates. If 50% are Malaysians, the 6 counters are only dealing with 150 sinkies. Each queue max 25 persons only.
 
It’s not even that cheap in JB these days. Pls la, wanna save money might as well think of ways to earn more money!
 
Both 海关 at Tuas and JB immigration have paralysed. The same happens in JB and Gelang Patah
 
What we need is a bridge to sumatra. Change of scenery. Mountainous v rice fields. Volcano trekking. Surfing on the Indian Ocean coast. Parasailing down mountain slopes. .....
