Of the many ridiculous rules, this one takes the cake.
People go to casino to enjoy themselves but to be SCRUTINIZED, WATCHED, and Get LECTURED? WTF is this! Read Below.

Information on problem gambling will also be prominently displayed in the casinos, and staff will be trained to detect and deal with problem gambling cases.

Resorts World Sentosa's assistant director for communications, Robin Goh, said: "Some of these signs may include anxiety shown by the gamblers at the table; they may show high-stress levels, bad temper, for example.

"What we can do is offer them a drink, ask them to take a break away from the game, and if they need any counselling, it's available on-site."

Talking cock again.

A well-run casino will make gamblers feel at ease, to the point that the gamblers will realise that they're bankrupt only after they've left the casino.

it inevitable that they will piss off the whales.

they got money to lose, even if they are stress, none of the staff business.

That is correct.
Can you imagine some of the world's newspapers headlines tomorrow regarding this?

Omigosh! They are going to have a field day of this.

So shameful to be a S'porean in times like this.

If the casino has ethical concept then what the fuck of operating the casino with absolute advantage over the player, game like baccarat althought the banker has slight advanatge over the player, why play banker win has to tax 5%? do away the 5% tax lah.
Why the govt allow unequal trading practice in the casino knowing very well the gamblers will end up jumping from the flat?

Singapore is trying to tell the world that besides nannying her citizens with an ironfist. She is trying to sell her nanny state ideas to all who choose to come here .

There are now clear evidence to support your statement.

They are now screwing the PRs and new citizens. School fees increment for PRs, lesser health subsidies for PRs....etc.
Once a leopard, always a leopard. THE SCUMS will always try to screw whoever and whatever.

This always after they speak very sweetly of you.

Haa... counsellor on site....
That sure is happening... Imagine a room full of gamblers who had lost money listening to a counsellor... I wonder will the counsellor get bashed up instead...

Why not set up like mini praying rooms instead... 1 for each religion, should work better than listening to some counsellor...
