Tibet is a name given by British.. It is culturally called XiZang. Similarly India is not its actual name, but Bharat.

Historical names for Tibet include Tufan. Sinkie fans of 'tian long ba bu' novel would probably be familiar with this little kingdom and its most eniment monk Jiumozhi.

the chinese economy started off in cantonese area due to its proximity to hong kong, who provided the expertise in manufacturing, trade and export market.
The privately owned big names are mostly based in canto area. But the people in shenzhen are mostly from elsewhere attracted to its tech start ups.
