In response only to the TS:-
In times of peace, some would decry & despise military personnel whom signed on as or even serve NS with fervor as nutjobs or jiakliaobees. The insignificant nobody me guess it's only normal Human behavior, as ignorance & cowardice is prevalent...
For those whom had serve to their best as much possible, it is due to an idealism - to protect loved ones at home - parents, loved ones, family, relatives & friends, within an organization that is detailed at all levels, as no one alone can save anyone, when the chips are down as none would know when war comes, to be trained & serve faithfully & pass the torch of courage to the next generations to be PREPARED ALWAYS than to be caught unaware & panic.
For us, whom are only mortals, do know what we signed up for, & sadly, know that we may have NO tomorrow when conflicts or war happens, as none of us have death wish. Thus we are prepared & trained RIGOROUSLY, for the worse, death or even torture in ANY Form.
No need to fear for the brave Israeli soldier. She is already prepared for what will happened. We are trained to be positive. It is NOT what terrorists or enemies can do to us, BUT WHAT WE CAN DO TO THEM as a team, as none of us would leave anyone behind. The more enemies we take with us to death is ONE more less enemy that can harm or hurt our loved ones......
