I agree with him on this one. I have been to Laos a few times. And I have never eaten any authentic Laotian food. Their local street food looks yucky and filthy. I always eat at Thai, Vietnamese and French restaurants. Their French eateries are good. There's one ah neh Brayani store near the river which is damn good.
