9th February 2023 – (Hong Kong) A video went viral recently on the Internet showing a couple hugging each other on a MTR train heading towards Mong Kok.

The woman was seen touching the crotch of her boyfriend while the man kept patting the woman’s head as a sign of approval. The time and date of the incident are unknown.

According to Section 148 of the Crimes Ordinance, Cap 200 “Indecency in Public”, any person who, without legal authority or reasonable excuse, indecently exposes any part of his body in a public place or in public view is guilty of an offence. If convicted, a fine of HK$2,000 and imprisonment for 6 months may be imposed.
