If you want a hearty chicken rice meal, better to just order briyani. They often give double the rice servings and more chicken meat than the average chink chicken rice plate.

The point is that hawker food is cheaper in the rich man's estate of Bukit Timah than in the ghettoes of Toa Payoh or Hougang.
