Living in Europe,Felt very sad after coming back Singapore for yr end holidays

Went to some Cold storage supermarket, realise things that cost €5 like champagne or bubble wine in Europe , they are selling here for $60-90, like a luxurious goods.

This tells me something is not right in this country. Things here are over priced and only rich can afford even simple pleasures. Liquor which allow the poor man a bit of solace is taken away.

Even things like going out to eat in a reasonable restaurant cost a bomb.

Its very elitist.

It's the same reason why this simple Malaysia-made candy is sold 2 or 3 times more than its price in Malaysia.

Chinese food is always the lowest cost food , on samr class as Kebab, in western countries, so no complains
