It makes perfect sense to reside down under cos you enjoy no privileges being a Sinkapolean residing in Sinkapor! All u get are a few yearly miserly payouts of couple of hundred dollars.. U have to pay 100k extra just to buy a small Jap/Korean car n the public housing cost close to a million bucks. The worse thing is u can't even buy public housing being a Sinkie unless u abide by all the unreasonable rules! Besides being a relatively safe country n affordable hawker food, there's nothing enticing about Sinkapor. Weather is hot n humid throughout the year n it rains heavily very frequently. What the foreigners get to enjoy is almost on par with a Sinkie for those above average working class..

Also not forgetting u enjoy the beautiful weather down under n you're able to get all the fresh produce in the markets..

If not for their severe racial discrimination against the yellow skins, Australia is actually quite a good place to migrate to. However, they do learn a lot of things from Singapore. Eg: they also have their equivalent of the ERP system and in certain locations, the charges are even implemented during the evening hours.

There is no racial discrimination to be severe like what you hearsay. everywhere there is some level of discrimination. My experience with Aussie is totally pleasant. If you really experience such bad treatment, maybe you ought to have a reality check on your own behaviour.

So, I don't need to check on my behavior and the racial discriminations in Australia were personally experienced by me (and not hearsay) as well as a few of my friends who had been there before. Don't tell me also that the behaviors of my other friends are questionable as well? Furthermore, it is a very known fact that Aussies are racists against those who are non-whites. Enough said.

Of course, there are also a few good ones. Whilst on a flight to London previously, I chanced upon an elderly Aussie lady next to my seat who was in transit from Australia to the UK. She, like you, had also told me that not all Australians are racists. I do agree with her partially, but if the majority of their people are, what's more do I need to say? I'm sure you've heard of the infamous Pauline Hanson, don't you? When an ex-politician had been so profound in expressing and implementing policies against foreigners, what's more will their citizens take to learn from their leaders? I believe you should know better yourself.

They have always forgotten that their aborigines are the original settlers of Australia. On the other hand, the present Aussies are the offsprings of ex-convicts being rejected by the UK and deported to a far away land to be isolated. Yet, they over ruled the aborigines, steal their land and reduced their existence and dignity to the very minimum.

I found the cashiers and guards at Woolworths to be very polite - much, much better than NTUC FairPrice. And the bus drivers, too ... much, much better than SMRT and SBS Transit.

Agree with you and it had started well before with the migrant Vietnamese who were willing to toil and take up jobs at low wages. Due to this, the Aussie's hatred towards Asians were even more pronounced, and also no thanks to what Winnie and the Tiongs are doing worldwide presently.

That solution to assimilate which you had mentioned is applicable to all intending immigrants, not just to Australia. It'll definitely make one's life in the host country much more accommodating and less stressful. But to say and to apply are 2 very different matters, depending on each's personality.

Another of their discrimination policy is that foreigners are only allowed to buy new properties, and in future, it can only be sold to the locals. This is totally very unfair and vastly limit the pool of buyers for the foreigners' properties.
