Seiko

Though almost everything else seems to have slowed down greatly in 2020, Seiko is rolling full steam ahead: From affordable Seiko 5 Sports to rugged Prospex, the Japanese powerhouse has continued to pump out compelling new models. Now, joining the elegantly oriented Presage family, the new Sharp Edged series features several premium details and plays to one of the brand's strengths: striking dial executions.
These faceted dials seem reminiscent of the whiskey glass-inspired Cocktail Time watches released this year, but Seiko says that the pattern of the Sharp Edged models are taken from a Heian-era "traditional hemp leaf pattern." In four color variations of blue, green, white and brown (which is matched to a rose gold-toned case), the dials have a gloss finish that should help accentuate the three-dimensional patterns.
In addition to their captivating dials, the Sharp Edged series watches have a versatile appeal that makes them more than just a formal option: Housed in 39.3mm cases on bracelets, they have 100m of water resistance, which backs up their everyday-wear proposition. The watches are powered by the Seiko 6R35 automatic movement, which is visible through display case backs.
The Sharp Edged series isn't among the most expensive Presage models with features like porcelain dials, but they sit a tier above those such as the affordable Cocktail Time watches. The sapphire crystal, better case finishes, interesting dial executions and more refined designs of the Sharp Edged (SPB) watches are typical for Presage models at their price point of $1,000. They'll be available in the US from September 2020.

Seiko overated. Casio a much better watch.
I assure you this is a very good-looking watch, if you have seen and touched the real one. The stainless steel feels expensive, and the craftsmanship superb. And it's because it's so perfect that there is something very wrong with it that it surprises me the Japanese makers haven't noticed.

Imagine Honda automobile comes up with a new series to replace Honda Civic - called Honda Accident.

KNN, who wants to buy ?

If this is true is a very major hiccup.
I tend to suspect it was on purpose to target the vengeance group. Japanese people 怪怪的
But when you wear it on your wrist, the Omen is direct at you, not the people you hate.

The Japanese have so many satki words - Samurai, Karate etc. God knows why they chose that ominous word.
