Animals are awesome, and for decades photographers have worked to capture them in each and every possible way. This of course, includes perfectly-timed clicks of animals caught mid-air while jumping or running.

Frog​

A frog's capacity for leaping and jumping varies depending on the size and species. On average, these animals can jump between 20 to 50 times their body length!

We're not quite sure what this kitten is seeing, but he sure is going for it with all his might!

Monkey​

Have you ever seen a monkey looking so composed while jumping from one tree to another?

Deer​

Red deer can run as fast as 35-40 mph (56-64 km/h). This pic was snapped at the perfect moment while the animal was running.

Dolphins​

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's a dolphin! Dolphins can actually jump 15-20 feet (4-6 meters) out of the water, depending on the species.
