Singapore cuts 2022 GDP growth forecast amid further deterioration in global economic outlook

A semiconductor company has slashed supplies contract with us for 1Q23. This means less staff for them next year, can't imagine even semiconductor companies will reduce headcounts.
 
Just like weather forecasting, these 'experts' can get it desperately wrong and still keep their cushy jobs.
 
No worries. The ministers and great minds in the Administrative Service will massage those numbers. As their bonuses depend on it, do you think they will allow it to happens?

i agree. increasing GST and stroking inflation will boost our GDP further (private consumption becomes higher).

Poor omen for the 4G. Hope Lord Looong will stay on loonger, steady the ship for at least another 10 years before hand over. :unsure:
