'In the next months, I expect the number of foreigners working in Singapore to shrink...In releasing foreign manpower to their home countries, we must however maintain a sense of fairness and responsibility. Whatever the economic conditions, some of our foreign manpower do stay on as PRs or citizens. Competition for talent is global and will intensify once the economic crisis blows over. We all stand to gain through improvements in the stock of Singapore's human capital. In other words, we still cannot afford to ignore our longer needs.'

These ministers and mps don't know what is competition. When the election comes around i hope the AP will let them have a taste of what competition is.

Very good! I agree! That's why I feel strongly that we should invite foreign politicians in to improve our stock of politicians! So may I ask if Mrs Teo and her colleagues in the PAP are willing to take a pay cut and face the competition if we let in hordes of politicians from Japan, China, Taiwan, New Zealand, Australia, Europe and USA? You know, because we will all stand to gain through improvements. And since our leaders seem to think that the only way to improve is to flood the market with cheap foreign labour and force locals to take pay cuts as a result, why don't you PAP elites lead by example?

To get new stocks you must also remove old stock like bery old fart LKY. Also remove lousy stock like the PMOS that need to a mentor.

Our thick and flavourful stock has been diluted by replacement Chinese from PRC, replacement intellectuals form overseas, and replacement population by m&ds.
