Daily new covid cases expected to exceed 10,000 again this week. Based on 3-14 days to recover (covid-negative), at this moment, there should be more than 50,000 people who are covid-positive cases, unable to go school or work. Productivity is now affected.

Many locals also choose not to report as they have mild symptoms and live a normal life and not spend more money on ART. These folks infected more people along the way. They should have redistributed the ART in June, instead of July.

In June, army camps reported a huge surge and many were made to return to camp. Now, infected foreigners can enter Singapore without PCR, as long as they were vaccinated. However, even if you are triple-jabbed, you can still be infected. In the end, some of these foreign visitors happily spread more positivity in our community.

It is unlikely to have another covid lockdown. It is also unlikely that we will impose limitations on gatherings and social-visiting as F1 is coming.

It's just another disease get over it. There are many ways to die.
It is the policies that contradict. In HR, covid-positive employees get to enjoy paid-sick/hospitalization leave but they are not required to see doctor. This created a lot of mistrust between staff and management. Likewise in army, there are officers who told their men to report back to camp after 3-7 days when NSF and NSmen still got two lines on ART (higher viral load and more infectious).

I hope that covid will kill me.

STI down almost 20points by now, Sheng Siong up 2 cents.

Don't play play, maybe some restrictions coming.

The thing is covid is more infectious than any other diseases and will have lee infections in a leepeated cycles.
As my uncle already mentioned the economic cost involved will be many folds compared to 1x full lockdown on the planet earth . Simple maths but unfortunatelee onlee My uncle kind of pay grade to understand it.

A bit of bacteria is nothing to be afraid of.

You can reduce the number of cases to zero overnight by stopping ALL testing, instead of perpetuating the scamdemic.

I am still unvaxxed healthy and cycle daily. Natural immunity is the best.

Dear bro, I can confirm for you it is false reporting.
Please share with your Aunties inner-circle group - This is from my med chatgroup. This is really biased reporting and scare-mongering. The titles said the toddler died of covid.

Baby dies after getting Covid-19

SINGAPORE: A one-and-a-half-year-old Singaporean boy who contracted the coronavirus died on Monday (Jun 27), becoming the country's first COVID-19 death under the age of 12. “The cause of death was Encephalitis due to COVID-19, Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) and Enterovirus infections,” said the Ministry of Health (MOH) in a media release, adding that the patient had no other past medical history and was previously well.

MOH is going to the dogs. This is false misleading reporting to claim that Covid caused the Encephalitis that killed him. He was killed by RSV, RSV caused the Encephalitis. RSV-related encephalitis usually develops within 1 to 2 days after the onset of clinical symptoms, such as high fever, cough, and fatigue. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/24337535/

Can POFMA MOH? :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

MTF won't introduce any preventive/corrective measures la. Have they done anything significant in the past 2.5 years of the pandemic?

4360 cases yesterday, and F1 is more important.

PS: we have also the highest monkeypox cases in Asia (19), excluding Israel.
