There is no masking requirement in non risk-prone areas. Even in areas declared as risk-prone, your chances of getting stopped by a traffic police for not wearing a helmet as a pillion rider are much higher. The ordinary Thais do not suffer from Stockholm Syndrome. They will not side with the Government for curtailing your freedom.

If you are returning from Cat I countries, they are considered low risk, then you don't have to self quarantine. These are China, Macao and Taiwan.

For the rest, you need to self-quarantine at home for 7 days. If it's not convenient for you to self-quarantine at home, then a SHQ hotel.

The Cat I list may change by July, nobody knows.
