If that is the case, there would be no christian and jews in muslim land. But just before creation of israel, baghdad was known as a jewish city. Morocco, cairo, teeming with jews.
And even today there are christians all over middle east. But that population is getting smaller as muslims seems to have lost their way. They could not control their emotions and forgotten sbout forgiveness and mercy, compassion and charity.
