It is not fair to give the chinese two rest days for CNY but not the other races. Why are the Chinese more entitled? Social visiting was very strict during Hari Raya 2021. With OYK acknowledging that Omicron will trigger a bigger surge than Delta, why is social visiting during CNY allowed?

I overheard someone say if u take off on 28 Jan and 3 and 4 Feb. U have a total of 10 days off, including weekends.
These are not valid reasons and simply self-centered. Leaves from workplace are personal entitlements.
Every race has their own events and preparations before the big day, but as individuals, it doesn't warrant that Chinese get an extra day.

Generally speaking, Muslims get Aidilfitri and Haj holidays.

those 2 days are not really rest days. parents and grannies toil the hours off until dusk to put food on the table. and spend another 6.9 hours cleaning up after the herd of swines after they have devoured the last morsel. it takes a total of 1.69 days to feed and clean up pigs.
Muslims get Hari Raya Puasa and Hari Raya Haji.
Christians get Christmas and Good Friday.
Chinese get the 1st and 2nd days of Chinese New Year.
Hindus supposed to get Deepavali and Thaipusam, but unfortunately, the latter was only a ceremonial holiday instead of a public holiday
