Ghib Ojisan reviews Mei Mei's Sg$20 Sg Chicken Rice in London

UK uses US long grain rice.
And the chicken probably free range and never suffered like our chickens as per EU rules.

Is the chicken rice halal certified ? If yes then it’s crap.

If with a Sinkie salary, it's hardly affordable to survive in the UK. I remembered buying a bottle of 1.5-Litre natural spring water in Norway for about S$8 and a simple fried rice meal had cost me about S$20. I was totally flabbergasted. In Sydney, the fried rice was about 15% cheaper but the serving was much larger.

I quite enjoy watching Ghib Ojisan's videos on YouTube. There was one video where he invited a Jap Chio Bu expat to this Jap restaurant to do food review together.

The SGD20 chicken rice is still cheaper than at Mandarin Hotel.
