Many daft Sinkies may have missed a Minister hinting at the very possibility, if HDB values and demand drops, foreigners will be allowed to buy.

You voted for it. You deserved it.

That's going to be the end of sg, n it will spiral up ,and go down ,very think will crash, this is having a bunch of incapable clowns that only know how to use hdb n get to squeeze

So property is used by PAP to Jack up sinkie wealth.
Hence reason why PAP made it difficult to travel and live in JB. And got najib to made it worse.

Non-citizens like PRs have been allowed to buy HDB flats long ago. You are unaware of local property laws.

Property value is usually the best indicator of the quality of government.

Hence reason why PAP made it difficult to travel to JB. And hot najib to made it worse.

It's only difficult to travel to JB now because of the ongoing pandemic. JB property value is low simply because of mismanagement of the state and the jiuhu country. Jiuhu property laws have been changed very quickly on the whims of racial politics in jiuhu. Property investors want stability, not sudden changes in property laws or immigration laws.

If HDB demand going to drop...then just stop building more.

It is called planning.

yes it is planning but not housing planning , it is economic planning. construction is one of the main economic drivers in sinkapore.
it keeps alive many jobs. upstream it is jobs for importers/manufacturers of cement , steel , electrical products like cable, etc ; downstream it
supports a variety of small businesses.
every year there is on going construction or new projects are being roll out. new mrt stations , new private condo , new roads , new changi airport T5.

SINGAPORE - Changi Airport's Terminal 2 is getting an extreme makeover, to allow the airport to handle even more passengers and to secure Singapore's status as a key aviation hub in the region.
When completed by 2024, T2 will be able to handle up to five million more passengers a year, taking Changi's total capacity to 90 million passengers a year.

great news, more spending, greater GDP. In return, Foreigners indeed create more jobs opportunity for SInkies

With this bunch of 4G and the shit left by 3G loon and jinx, I am sure it will come to pass.

Pr can buy resale only

If foreigners can buy HDB, then singsporeans who think they can rely on rental income to fund their retirement will find it a bit harder.
