KNN the level of journalism these days is laughable.

Ms X aged 20, jumped down from the 4th level of a building. She was not depressed as she could not meet her mother due to covid, neither could she use her tablet. End of story! CCB didn't report properly!

One reason people died of vovid is due to being scared to death. The media overhyped the disease so much people just dropped dead when they were tested positive.

Last year, a 20 y/o low IQ(as per the paper) lady jumped down from fourth floor of THK, where she was staying at, because she was not allowed to go back home to see her mother because of covid restrictions. She was not allowed to do video conferencing with her either - no explanation as to why. She usually goes back on every Friday to spend the weekend with her family.

Why she was a long term resident in THK is not explained either. Some suggested that it might be due to her mental health issue but I have my doubts because this is not something that needs to be forced to stay there. Even if there were a need, it should be at IMH instead since that would be the more appropriate environment. "

Imuho it should be the familee that leequested and applied for her to stay there and noone at home got the bandwidth to take care of her. Maybe her case is not verlee severe or her familee didn't want her to be categorised as siao lang to stay in imh long term or maybe is the cost.
