I was going state that too. Kuala Lumpur also did not make the list. Our neighbors aren't going to be too happy.

You are well traveled and can go to any of those cities for leisure anytime but you choose to make Singapore home. That surely means something.

Same for many of my friends and relatives. They say Singapore is the best.

Good jobs. Low taxes. Modern infrastructure. Good healthcare system. Excellent transport system. Food is amazing. Weather is warm. No tornado no hurricane no earthquakes no tsunamis. Multi racial harmonious. Safe. No guns. Low crime rate. World renowned education system.

Agree? Easy to see why SG ranked so high!

I would agree with you.

However there are many who love the hot weather in Singapore. Including my father. And many old retirees who will say that other countries with 4 seasons and a winter are uninhabitable. So Singapore having hot warm weather all year round is good for the joints.

As well as for die hard golfers.
