Is there such thing as unlimited data, data-only plan?

Planning to get a candybar phone with a cheap phone sim and using separate data-only SIM for tablet. Lazy to check online so asking here.

For the tablet, why not just use the wifi at home or at the workplace, Starbucks etc? You want to make phonecalls with your tablet?

I'm already using one but prefer separate SIMs for redundancy sake. My one-year unlimited plan just ended and I was caught off-guard without data at an important time.
