Nothing beats the 1982 original version. The characters literally walked out from the novels. 梁家仁 is the ultimate 乔峰 and 石修 is the ultimate 慕容复. The tiong versions are totally bastardized.

Just ignore these modern Tiong remakes.

Even if you are a fan of Tiong classic tv dramas... the newer ones made in the 2000s and later are fucked up. Terrible acting, deviates from the original novel too much, shitty CGI etc. Stick to those made in the 1980s and 1990s.
