Cars that will last more than 500,000km

Bhai,

I think cars, electrical equipment like TV, refrigerator, etc built during the 1960s, 1970s are more reliable.
And they do last longer than the current range.
My Grandpa owned a Datsun 120Y and I think he used it for almost 15years.
There is no major maintenance problems.

You can get that same reliability from pick up trucks built in thailand.

when you are in your 20s and 30s, you look for performance and styling
after 50s you look for comfort and reliability because you get fedup of visiting the mechanic

looks are subjective, it changes as we age

the toyota pirius hybrid taxis we see running around are very tough and lasting,
its the best selling hybrid in the US, trouble free and low running costs,

In TOYOTA Japanese factories, they are quite discriminatory. When I was in Japan years ago, they told me that staffs are encouraged to buy and drive TOYOTAs. If you drive a different brand, you will be allocated your parking lot a little further away from the factory, thus causing much inconveniences.
