Buddhism was an advanced philosophy of thought during Gautama Buddha's time, much like the Internet version of our recent time. Who knows? Maybe in a few hundred years' time, people will revere tech personalities such as Bill Gates or Steve Jobs the same way as Gautama and his Buddhist philosophies...
