Anyone using this VIVIFI ?
How are they, say, compared to Circles.Life ?
Any reviews ?

From VIVIFI
"VIVIFI is a brand new mobile virtual network operator that offers the only no contract shareable mobile data plan in Singapore. Living the values of innovation, optimism, and trust, the company is here to enrich, energise and empower its customers. VIVIFI prides itself of being the first MVNO to offer affordable tiered rates to customers who exceed their data, talktime or SMS limit. VIVIFI customers no longer have to worry about paying extra for add-ons which may not be utilised. They have the opportunity to unify their families with just One mobile plan. With VIVIFI, no more wastage from the unused data, talk time or SMS and there’s one less thing to worry about when you’re paying your monthly bills!"

You tend to get what you pay for with these cheap new companies. Slower internet speeds, poorer reception in remote areas, underground and inside lifts etc.

If you don't mind those annoyances just to save a little money, go for it. Contractless, so can terminate anytime.

usually they don't survive after 6.9 years, and subscribers are left with their dongles hanging. they rely on mobile operators who own and build their networks for the mobile service, latch on a couple of gateways to becum an mvno, pay "wholesale" prices in terms of network leases to these operators, and turn around to resell mobile services at a discount or with prepaid plans to attract cost-conscious customers (basically the most undesirable bunch of bottom-feeding losers in the open market). the business model has a payback of around 6.9 years, and if they don't make it by then they cut loose and go kaput. if they make it in 6.9 years, it's only a matter of time their thin razor margins disappear greatly impacting their cash flow.

TPG is quite aggressive in its advertisements these days. Seen at many places.

I remember Virgin Mobile had a brief stint in Sinkieland.

Virgin sucks, you cannot do business without pap backing. Thats the same for any dictatorship. All three new telcos tpg circles and nyrepublic are using the three temasek telcos, except you dont have to put up with overchraging, contracts and expensive plans. Its retarded to use any of the three telcos directly

singtel was a partner with virgin in the mvno deal, but backstabbed virgin with cheaper plans to capture potential virgin customers after the mvno launch. virgin only managed to sign up 30k customers during launch, but after that they started migrating over to singtel.

Even amongst dogs there are caste systems. Remaining customers with the 3 telcos are just the doddering boomer idiots. Young people dont sign with them

And they know this. For exampke tpg now is offering just 5sgd for elderly. Take all their customers
