Perhaps why they let the elderly have priority is because should anything happen to them in future, they can just blame old age or pre-existing conditions. How convenient.

That is exactly what they are doing now. When some old fart dies after a vaccine shot "there is no evidence" the vaccine is the cause.

However when an old fart who has not had the vaccine dies they attribute it to Covid even without a test in order to inflate the death toll.
