[Video] - Praying Mantis the terrifying killer... unless you're a human being

The praying mantis is my favourite insect. I take photos of them whenever I see them. Magnificent insect. BTW, Mantis Prawns are delicious.

I love the praying mantis fighting style. Very graceful, powerful and showy.

That's Yu Hai, one of Jet Li's martial arts teachers and a genuine TaiJi grandmaster. Here he is fighting Tiger Chen (a martial artist actor) using TaiJi in Keanu Reeves production movie "Man of Tai Chi".

Btw, try not to laugh when you watch right to the end of the clip when they speak.

Did he invent the praying mantis fighting style? Or was it invented by Shaolin monks centuries back? Yes, I like watching that style. Fearsome and lethal.

I only tasted Mantis Prawns a few times. Poor guy like me only can catch them myself using my jaring, when I am lucky. I have not been to Boston, can't afford the airfare. So I have not tried their lobsters.

Mantis Prawns are dirt cheap in BKK. When I was working there, I have it at least twice a week.

No, he did not invent the style. The mantis style is concentrated in Shandong area because that was the place of origin.
