Indonesia Gets First Batch of Covid Vaccine From China’s Sinovac

The first batch of Covid-19 vaccine ordered from China’s Sinovac Biotech Ltd. arrived in Indonesia, marking a new phase in the country’s fight against Southeast Asia’s worst outbreak.

As many as 1.2 million doses of the vaccine arrived late on Sunday and the government expects to receive another shipment of 1.8 million doses in early January, according to Indonesian President Joko Widodo. Sinovac will also ship raw material for 45 million doses of the vaccine, which Indonesia’s state pharmaceutical firm PT Bio Farma will process locally, Widodo said in a statement.

Besides Sinovac, the government has orders with at least three other vaccine suppliers, including AstraZeneca Plc, whose shots are in late-stage trials.

Indonesia has the highest number of cases in Southeast Asia at 569,707, and more than 17,000 people have succumbed to the disease. The government aims to provide free vaccination for as many as 120 million Indonesians at a cost equivalent to 0.5% to 1% of gross domestic product through 2022, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said last month.

Life is basically cheap n since it is cheap. The lockdowns should not happen and it was better to let the virus spread. By now it would have burnt itself out like SARs. N how many infected are sick or dead?

This Vaccine is not on par with the Western mRNA vaccines, only a killed virus type. Stay away from Russian and China Made Vaccines.

Qantas, Korean Air, Cebu Pacific announced that they eventually want international passengers to take Vaccine before flying. I got to take because i fly for work.

If i can choose, I don't want because I used to take flu jab annually in the early 2000s. It never worked for me, and i still get very sick every year because of flu.

I think you don't see the importance and danger that this vaccine can alter your DNA or u think it is some conspiracy BS. My take is if u get vaccine injured, you can't work either.

However, everyone's free will is respected and they make decision based on their own vibrational frequency.

For me, I would rather not travel. I will not even travel if they want to PCR test or quarantine me.
