Most of the low income earners vote for PAP. I had talked to one cleaner and told her that Ministers are collecting millions of dollars every year. I couldn't believe my ears when she replied that these Ministers deserve to have such high salary.

this tells me all the above listed industries have been profiting from the cheap wages offered to foreign workers for many years.
it is shameful to earn less than $8/hr for honest work.
If they earned $1,000 per month then its still far more than what you earn in a year,.

My friend office cleaner single incone getting a pay of less then $1200.
Family with wife and 2 kindergarten child.
Money already almost all gone after paying kindergarten fees.
Staying on rental flat .
Then he no bian look for MSF comcare financial assistance allocated $250 monthly.
4 headcount family they help so little only.
I also don't know what to say.
For a first world country this government help is a joke
All this cheap labour has been happening for years.
Mostly fill by foreigners and government keep blaming singaporean don't want to take it up.
Now the time has come even government know they try to open gate to ft to this jobs but there are limitations as other countries may have blocked their people coming here.
So now we back to square one bosses are opening their urgent needed manpower to singaporean.

Cheap labour to maintain our country growth has been practice by many countries too.
