I had my branch offices in Sandakan and Lahad Dato in Sabah some decades ago

yes ,Kota Kinabalu ,previously known as Jesselton was a beautiful cosy city ,where English is more spoken than bahasa or any chinky dialects ...compared to Kuching of Sarawak far cleaner and organised ...even Sibu in Sarawak looked like Sinkiland of the 50s and 60s ,where the entire town was 99.99 were chinks

but ,let me tell you this ,without Penoys from Phillipines Sabah will not function economically ....the local natives of Sabah ,majority being Kadazans and the rest like Dusun ,Bajau ,ibans and dayaks mostly live off the town in villages and are never engaged much in economical activities

and in a city like Lahat Dato ,the entire town is flooded with illegal Penoys and resembled a cow boy town ,lawless too

apart from that without the illegals from Phillipines in Sabah and Indonesians from Kalimantan in Sarawak ,both their economies will grind to a stop
