Integrity of the Judiciary Depart is lost for delay the case either one of them is charge for Perjury or felony...

I think you are sort of confused as who is a plaintiff and who is defendant .. the plaintiff is already a PM

there is a saying that justice delayed is justice denied but there are cases that had stretched for decades , you see the legal process of deferment over deferment can stretch to years and years , than appeal appeal too..and in certain countries some trials had stretched over 30 over years too and they are criminal as well , hence criminals had actually died before being sentenced

so overall over judiciary is not that bad in time factor except it stinks when trying political opponents

Returning officers indeed can play punk nit picking on technicalities and bar oppie candidates , and it had happened many times

in the last GE in Malaysia the returning officers did huge damage to Pakatan which was the opposition standing against UMNO , there was a prominent Pakatan candidate who was fined a certain amount in a court case , the returning officer decided that fine bars the candidate from standing as a candidate even though the court ruled otherwise ...than there was another blatant incident where the opposition candidate was even refused entry to submit his application because he did not wore some tag , the court later overturned this and another by election held

you would notice in such injustices the court comes to help ...this is what LKY had done a huge damage to our democratic system by making our courts a kangaroo one

in a true democracy , the other pillars are judiciary , free press and divorcing executive powers from politicians ...LKY over the past 60 years had blurred the lines and politicise these sacred institutions

notwithstanding , 60% still vote for such a dynasty..so , who are we to complain ?

Quite plausible , everything is a probable possibility but from my experience of heated political exchanges with him , he came across as the sort of chinese medium educated kind of fellas who will die for their ideology , he was indeed SAP schooled ...but than who knows ?

You're entitled to your own beliefs based on "gut feel".

However I can tell you with certainty there are gloved hands behind the curtains muting vocal critics and turning weaker opposition to the other side. With the establishment's infinite resources, their offers of a foreign appointment, NGO post etc will never be turned down.
