China goes by a doctrine called Salomey Slicing , simply put just nimble your neighbours slowly but surely ....exactly as how Sinkie behaves towards its neighbouring countries too , by land fillings taking the very sand from its neighbouring countries ...hence there will always be border battles between China and neighbours but never a major war

the scenario is pretty much the same in the seas too ...but Indonesia is the only country that can put a stop to this nonsense ...all it has do is simply shoot any chinese fishing vessels intruding into Indonesian waters ...China is in no way or in a position to fight a large country like Indonesia by a major war , China could not even invade Taiwan for that matter ...but if China were to retaliate with its navy , than Indonesia along with say India can simply choke the straits of Malacca and Sunda straits ..China than would be practically dead , the much needed oil and other trade through the sea will cease for China , even food to feed Chinese population is finished ....this is very very possible ...but it would also upset other international trade but can be done

actually the Indian navy had drawn such a scenario where India itself has a naval base in Andaman Islands much closer to Thailand and Indonesia than India itself ...and India does have blue water naval capacity ...with the cooperation of Malaysia and Indonesia and India the entire east can be cut off from the west ,,,if all three countries navy cooperate they can line up any vessel that need to pass through the narrow Malacca straits and decide who can sail and who cannot ...even if ships manage to pass through the straits of malacca , than they have to content with the Indian Navy in the Indian Ocean

hence ,it’s clear to see just a mere cooperation between India and Indonesia can choke the world trade and bring China to its knees
