In Archie's case did it go all the way to a High Court judgment?

As for TT Durai's downfall. He actually brought it on himself as he was the Plaintiff against ST.

I agree gloves came off because Durai's guardian angel Mrs GCT no longer carried the imprimatur of being Mrs PM as well. And you are right Davinder Singh is the best legal advocate in Singapore.

But in TT Durai's case he did not lose merely because of opinions. He lost because of established facts against him, even to the extent of he himself admitting certain facts against himself.

As for the present Parti case. I don't think Chan J merely overturned DJ Olivia Low's judgment just on his opinion. It was based on the established facts as well. The break in chain of evidence which ultimately lead to Parti being rightfully acquitted.
