Another cult-like Christian church - Calvary Pandan Bible Presbyterian Church

Dr Tow Siang Hwa was a controversial leader when alive. I recall his brother in the same light.
 
They're just very conservative. Not really a 'cult' like some of the more infamous megachurches. :wink:

The biggest problem with mainstream Christianity is that it idolizes the Bible and Jesus the man from 2000 years ago. I always tell Christians who insist that the King James version of the Bible is the true and most accurate version to fuck off. The Bible merely contains scriptural texts that points to Jesus the Christ, who existed before time. It is not the Word of God. The Word of God is Jesus the Christ.

I think the KJV-only churches insist on only having the KJV version of the Bible because they see the other modern versions e.g. the NIV as corrupted. :wink:
