Job Support Scheme gives reimbursement for hiring locals for up to $4600 monthly pay.

Under Career Support Programme, companies that are hiring PMETs who are out of job for 6-12 months can get reimbursement for 12 months for applicable gross salary of $4000-7000.

Under Job-Growth Initiative, companies will receive salary support of 25 per cent for the next 12 months for the first S$5,000 of the new hires' salaries.

With all these incentives, is $4500 the norm asking-pay of our local fresh-grads?

Local fresh grads cannot get this pay.The jobs are for CECA Ah Nehs.

Depends on the university and the type of degree. Starting pay for graduates vary widely and it's hard to generalize. $4,500 is on the high side, maybe around the 75th percentile. I reckon the median for the 4 local universities (exclude SIM) is probably around $3,500.

See how good SG govt is? Even salary not inflation proof but CPF always keep up with inflation.
