Just heard the news from a staff that 140 employees will be retrenched in yet another round of job cuts. This is after at least two similar major exercises in the past 2 years. And after NYC announced last month that the company is financially well positioned to fight the impact of Covid-19.

Well done Ng Yat Chung. With any luck, the 158th den of presstitutes will end up like NOL.

NYC and the whole bunch of incompetent senior management should be fired for destroying shareholders value and workers lives.

Did the half-Jap Sumiko Tan get the pink slip too ?

They can join sammyboy.com as staff writers.

I give my staff far more journalistic freedom than SPH ever will.

Don't you already have many prolific writers who post here everyday? Need some more?

If SPH don't sell their overseas asset this year, then they have to issue rights soon.

I've told SPH employees to immediately start looking for a new job on the day Ng Yat Chung was announced as the new CEO.
