I thought this election no physical rallies? Simi lanjiao is 'Fullerton Rally'?
Talking cock as usual, only more passionate this time.
Nine years ago in the GE 2011 rally at Fullerton, then PAP Secretary-General Lee Hsien Loong made a rare apology for mistakes his government may have made. He made the apology amidst feedback that people were angry with his government’s mishandling of immigration policy (Reuters: Singapore PM makes rare apology as election campaign heats up, 4 May 2011).
So, for a party who was used to walkovers, it came as a shock to PAP when almost all the seats were contested in GE 2011 except for Tanjong Pagar GRC when the opposition team was disqualified over a technicality.
At the time, with the ruling party’s lax immigration policies, there was over-crowding on trains and buses caused by huge influx of foreigners and inadequate infrastructure support. Singaporeans were also angry with the higher housing prices then.
“If we didn’t quite get it right, I am sorry but we will try and do better the next time,” Lee told a crowd at Fullerton located in CBD.
Later he repeated, “Well, we’re sorry we didn’t get it exactly right, but I hope you’ll understand and bear with us because we’re trying our best to fix the problems.”
He want to fix his own problems?
Only in Election he can see his own created problems he created in last 5 years and do nothing to fix it when he need to rectified it straight away.
We have a problem here.
That is we hv to find a good engineer to fix him so the problem he created.
He has a lousy 5G he created and now want another 5 years to fix his own problems.
Does not make sense...

And on the last 2 days of campaigning, Lee Hsien Loong drags out the PAP's trusty dusty old bogeyman from the basement - fear mongering - in this period of "danger and alarm", investors will be concerned if PAP does not get 100% of Parliament..
In 2011, the PAP - Goh Chok Tong in particular- invoked the same ghosts, that the Cabinet would be greatly diminished if George Yeo lost.
Well, George Yeo lost, the PAP's vote share was the lowest since Independence, and LHL cleared out 9 cabinet ministers (including his father), and even cut ministers salaries by 30%, after the election.
What happened after that?
Life went on.
The Cabinet did not disintegrate.
George Yeo's Aljunied GRC town council today, under the management of WP, has a very healthy sinking fund of $53 million.
The PAP even boasted how an increased amount of investments flowed into Singapore the following years!
See through the fear mongering, dear Singaporeans.
We are not birds. Don't - as the Chinese would say - gong jiao way. (Don't speak bird language, or don't talk nonsense.)
Don't belittle us and treat us like children with your strawman scarecrow.
