In response to Hubbard's email asking Phuc Bui Diem Nguyen to change her name, the student wrote that she would file a complaint if the professor did not use her real name to address her.
Hubbard replied to that message by further elaborating which word he thought the name was similar to:

Could have been worse. Her name could have been Phuc Bich Ho
 
Any women should be proud with a name like that. The lecturer deserve his punishment.
 
Thai name also funny... one sound only... got one girl name Puc...

Troublesome viet! So nice the prof tell her in private why can not be a good phuc bui and change name? :thumbsdown:
