But seriously, may I ask you again, if an all-out war were to really happen between the PRC and the USA (which would probably involve Japan and Taiwan) during the next ten years (i.e. the 2020s), regardless of who draws first blood, and let's say that your beloved PRC manages to wipe out the entire:
wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Forces_Japan#List_of_current_facilities
wikipedia.org/wiki/Japan_Self-Defense_Forces
wikipedia.org/wiki/Republic_of_China_Armed_Forces
before any of them can even touch anything or anyone on Mainland China, are you implying that you are 100% sure that the PRC will manage to CONTINUE PREVENTING reinforcements from mainland USA from attacking:
wikipedia.org/wiki/Beijing
wikipedia.org/wiki/Shanghai
or if you're not 100% sure, may I ask you, how sure are you?
96% or 69% or 6.9%?
I be very sure of one thing
No one will give a flying fuck or care who started the war or why the war started.
Tardigrades will live well and happy in the new world where even cockcroaches and rats may not be alive.
That war will not need ten years.
Dear @LaoTze, many thanks again for replying again!
But I'm afraid I don't think you answered my question, unless you are implying that you are still NOT sure that the PRC will manage to CONTINUE PREVENTING reinforcements from mainland USA from attacking:
wikipedia.org/wiki/Beijing
wikipedia.org/wiki/Shanghai

That war will be over in ten hours or less
Those that are lucky will be those gone in the first few micro seconds
Those unlucky will still be alive a year later. And they all wished they gone in the first few seconds.
As the saying goes:
wiktionary.org/wiki/actions_speak_louder_than_words
right?

It is truth that Chinese soldiers were only armed by a lousy rifle that effective range was only 200m. 漢陽造was the mainstay rifle of the Chinese armies. But to claim 3m Japanese deaths is a little bit too much. Due to the low killing power of both the Chinese rifle and the captured jap 三八大蓋,the official accepted figure for jap losses in the China theatre was estimated at 700k for the 8 years campaign.
Chinese to Japanese soldiers deaths in battles were usually 3-5 to 1. the ROC official losses were 3.2 millions. so the Japanese official losses 700K seemed quite right.
Go brush up your knowledge.
Unlike you two shooting off from the hips, I tend to do a bit more of research before I write.
Do try to write more wisely and meaningfully in future.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Sino-Japanese_War
Or you brave enough to go and rewrite that wikipedia entry?

3,000,000 – 5,000,000 military casualties after July 1937 (excluding Manchuria and Burma campaign)[d]
Including casualties of Japanese puppet forces. The combined toll is most likely around 3,500,000: 2.5 million Japanese, per their own records, and 1,000,000 collaborators.
Do you really understand the word casualties? It do not mean death, even a cut in the pinkie also included in the casualties figure. The 700k Japanese death not a figure I pluck from the sky. This figure was endorsed by the CCP and published in CCP high school history textbooks. You not happy with the 700k figure, you can go scold the China Communist Party for poisonings the mind of PRC citizens since 1949.
You can pcc all you want. I clicked on your wiki link but cannot see 3m death figure. Jap official figure admit 700k while KMT claimed 1.77m death. Don’t have 3m death leh.

Dear @LaoTze, I'm afraid @sleaguepunter is really correct:
wikipedia.org/wiki/Casualty_(person)
("A casualty, as a term in military usage, is a person in military service, combatant or non-combatant, who becomes unavailable for duty due to several circumstances, including death, injury, illness, capture or desertion.")

@sleaguepunter's first post in this thread was in response to your first reply to me (near the top of the third page), in which you clearly said:
sammyboy.com/posts/3117676
And remember that China in WW2 with single shot bolt rifles and 5 bullets to a rifle were the best armed half of the force. And with swords and bare bodies with explosive strapped to them took on and killed 3,000,000 japanese soldiers.
But according to the wikipedia article that you yourself quoted:
wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Sino-Japanese_War
and not counting the "1,000,000 collaborators" (which included "742,000 wounded"), there were at most "700,000 military dead" among those "2,500,000+ military casualties" (according to "Japanese medical data"); and even the "2007 PRC studies" estimated "1,055,000 dead" Japanese soldiers (i.e. only 355,000 more), right?

Correct for fuck? You either English fail or maths fail, or maybe worse blind. No where in where you circle displayed 3 million japanese death, only estimate 3-5m casualties. Even your beloved communist estimate according to Wikipedia is 1 million.
And please stop using photos 國军 and link them to the current communist regime. 大刀队had nothing to do with the communist, they belong to 冯玉祥。those days communist still running towards 延安。as for 敢死队,是國军弟兄在淞沪会战和臺儿庄战役献上生命来救国,跟共产党没关系。

As i'm sure you've heard b4 :

Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.

Sorry to burst y'all bubbles but hor UFO's have been dismantling Nuclear missiles and weapons for many years already as i've told y'all b4, the exact size, distance of our Moon to create the perfect Sun eclipse and creating the tilt of our earth for four seasons isn't accidental. This is a created realm and is heavily guarded too.
There's no real nuclear warheads and there won't ever be an extinction event ever. 啦 !

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The Earth's tilt is very important. It is perfectly positioned so that it gives us the seasons and on top of that the seasons are near perfectly calibrated for life. When compared with other planets Earth's tilt allows for season that are not too extreme in temperature but are pretty well balanced.

The angle varies a little over time, but the gravitational pull of the moon prevents it from shifting by more than a degree or so. This tilt is what gives us seasons. The Earth's axis always points the same direction, so as the planet makes its way around the sun, each hemisphere sees varying amounts of sunlight. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Axial_tilt

Hence the Moon always faces us on one side only, in perfect sync the darkside of the Moon gets its name.

The real currency of the earth is fear the greatest evil is ignorance the key is forgiveness so help each other out within our means especially those near and around you.

Forgiveness is higher than love for you can love your loved ones but can you forgive the aggressors ? No need to worry about what others do, nature has perfect balance hence karma or cause and effects will take place just matter of time perfect as it is because without sufferings there's no real growth.

Healing is innate to all living organism only need to prevent or stop the causes that restrict or prevent natural healing. Sugar is the world greatest addiction it's bad real bad, ciggy and liquor too and release the fear, anger and frustration take your veggies and fruits and you'll heal anything and everything.

Don't curse and swear at others you're cursing and swearing at yourself too, when you forgive you heal up.

Drop all self limiting beliefs, you are Sovereign lol..... Be grateful you're living in this exciting timeline, your Gods/GOD or ancestors must have favour you. lol....

Be well, Cheers !

no. the then KMT govt of China fought off the Japanese invaders all by themselves. the CCP evaded the IJA, and rarely fought a decent battle. after 1940, the CCP colluded with the Japanese and sold out KMT, China and Chinese people.

----------

Google Translate

Chiang Kai-shek specifically described the fact that many Communist forces and Japanese troops were accomplices in his diary and "Review of Soviet Russia in China-Chiang Kai-shek" (by Jiang Jieshi, 1956).For example, during the battle between the Japanese and the Kuomintang government forces that occurred in Zhongtiaoshan, Jinnan, Shanxi Province, in May 1941, the Eighth Route Army in the northwest of Shanxi and the Japanese forces attacked the Kuomintang government forces together. This is because Pan Hannian proposed the proposal of "the truce of the Chinese Communists and the Japanese Army" to Hidei Iwai, and sold the intelligence of the KMT government army in Chongqing to the Japanese side at a high price. In his memoirs, Chiang Kai-shek clearly stated that "the Chinese Communist Party handed over the military deployment and combat plan of our national army to the Japanese army through Japanese special service agencies."Iwai ’s memoirs and Wang Ming ’s memoirs, as well as Chiang Kai-shek ’s memoirs, proved from different angles how Mao Zedong was accomplices with the Japanese army and sold the Chinese nation. And these three people just recorded their thoughts in their respective memoirs, and there is no way to know what others have written, but their content is so consistent. Isn’t this terrible? Is there any more conclusive fact? If the Chinese people do not even have the courage to admit this, they can only say that they lack "the courage to face history". Whether it is Japan or China, we need to face history truth".

White ensuring China cannot have factories to build cannons and guns , this what the West and USA done.
And still Chinese killed and bled Japan white.

Imagine how the war in Pacific against USA be like if Japan was not caught in the quicksand of China. And USA got to face 3,000,000 Japanese instead of just 300,000 Japanese.

According to the 1939 Reports to the Annual National Convention of the American Legion, in 1936 1,467,639 tons of scrap metal ftom all foreign nations were exported to Japan while since 1937 Japan's dependence on the United States of America grew massively for war materials and supplies against China.[118][119] The US contributed massively to the Japanese war economy in 1937 with 20.4% of zinc, 48.5% of engines and machinery, 59.7% of iron, 41.6% of pig iron, 60.5% of oil, 91.2% of automobiles and parts, 92.9% of copper of Japan were imported from the U.S. in 1937 according to a hearing by the United States Congress Senate Committee on Foreign Relations.[120][121][122][123] From 1937 to 1940, the US exported a total of $986.7 million to Japan. The total value of military supplies was $703.9 million. During the Japanese war against China, 54.4% of Japan's weapons and supplies were provided by Americans. 76% of Japanese planes came from the US in 1938, and all lubricating oil, machine tools, special steel, high-test airplane petrol came from the US, as did 59.7% of Japan's scrap iron and 60.5% of Japan's petrol in 1937. Japan freely bought weapons from U.S. companies, even as the U.S. Government barred the sale of weapons to Republican Spain. From 1937–1940, Japanese bombers were fueled with American oil and Japanese weapons were made out of American scrap iron. America supplied Japan with 54.4% of its war materials in 1937 when Japan invaded China, increasing to 56% in 1938. Japan by itself had scant and meagre resources and could not have prosecuted war against China or dreamed of empire without massive imports.[124] The Dutch East Indies, the British Empire and United States of America were the top exporters of war supplies for Japan's military against China in 1937, with 7.4% from the Dutch, 17.5% from the British and 54.4% from the United States of America. Oil, scrap iron and rubber were all sold by France, the Netherlands, Britain and the U.S. to Japan after the invasion of China in 1937.[125][126] In Sep 15, 1939 American oil companies unveiled contracts to deliver three million barrels of petroleum to the Japanese Navy.

not only english and maths fail, history also fail. Both ROC and Japan didnt declare war on each other until 09 December 1941 despite fighting each other since 1937. Why you may ask, it because USA at that time have a law that prohibit selling of weapons to warring nations. As much as USA sold raw or finished materials to Japan which Japan used to manufactured weapons, USA also export completed weapons to ROC such as the Curtiss P40 Kittyhawk fighters, M1Thompson submachine pistol and lastly ex US Air Corp/Marines/Navy pilots flying under ROC colors.
It a free economy. got hard currency surely can buy raw materials. USA earned from both sides, sure they did but what wrong with a country looking after it own interests.

Japan wouldn't have started the pacific war against USA if not for their leaders stubbornness to must win the stalemate war against China. Japan should accept the result and withdrew to its 1937 position in China in its best interests. Japan can't defeat the USA, they knew it but they still chose to fight them.

Japan best units from the 1st-20th Divisions ( Shidans ) were wasted in the China war 1937-1941. the KMT fought them all, the CCP not involved. for example - the Japanese 25th army that easily defeated the British forces in Malaya - the main units 5th and 18th Divisions had most of its experienced men KIA in China. because of that, the 2 units had stepped down from frontlines to security duties. after some time they were strengthened with fresh recruits and then deployed to 25th army Malaya.

you missed out the imperial guards division. 近衛師団, Konoe Shidan

a lot of people dont understand why one IJA division can defeat 2-3 National Revolutionary Army's divisions. on paper it one division vs one division of troops but in actual fact 1 NRA division conisist of 7-8 thousand riflemen while one IJA division consist of 20 thousand men. if it is division number 1-20, the figure even higher as these divisions were square division.

When Chinese soldiers were armed properly, Chinese could fight much better than the Japs or Angmohs.

That can clearly be seen in the Burma campaign at the battle of Yenaungyaung in 1942
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Yenangyaung

On 16 April, almost 7,000 British soldiers, and 500 prisoners and civilians were encircled by an equal number of Japanese soldiers from the IJA 33rd Division at Yenangyaung and its oil field. The 33rd Division had cut the Magwe road between Slim's two divisions, who were now about 50 miles (80 km) apart. The 1st Burma Division was hampered by large numbers of wounded men and was short of water. Major General James Bruce Scott, commanding the 1st Burma Division, telephoned General Sun Li-jen, commanding the Chinese 38th Division, asking for rescue soon after the 38th Division entered the area.

Fires at Yenanguang as the British destroyed equipment and facilities

General Sun requested to lead his entire division to the rescue of 1st Burma Division, but General Lo Cho-ying, commanding the Chinese Expeditionary Force in Burma, refused. On 17 April, General Sun instead led his 113th Regiment with only 1,121 men, of which only 800 were combat personnel, in the rescue mission. Because the Chinese had no artillery or tanks, Lieutenant General Slim assigned the 7th Armoured Brigade, commanded by Brigadier John Anstice, to General Sun. The brigade consisted of two regiments (battalions) of M3 Stuart light tanks and a battery of 25-pounder guns.[4]

For the next three days the Chinese attacked southwards. The temperatures reached as high as 114 degrees Fahrenheit and a pall of smoke from the demolished oil wells and refineries hung over the battlefield.[5]

With just 800 combat Chinese personnel , General Sun hantumed the Jap 33rd Division that 7,000 British soldiers failed to do and rescued the fucking angmohs.
That was in 1942 when the Japs were on a fucking high winning battles after battles.

And that 33rd Div got whacked silly by just 800 combat Chinese.

and not counting the "1,000,000 collaborators" (which included "742,000 wounded"), there were at most "700,000 military dead" among those "2,500,000+ military casualties" (according to "Japanese medical data"); and even the "2007 PRC studies" estimated "1,055,000 dead" Japanese soldiers (i.e. only 355,000 more), right?

General Sun instead led his 113th Regiment with only 1,121 men, of which only 800 were combat personnel, did what 7000 fucking angmohs could not do.

Beat the shit out of of IJA 33rd Div of 10,000 combat soldiers.

It still cannot turn the campaign around and keep the burma road from falling into the hands of the japanese. THAT THE MOST IMPOSTANT OBJECTIVE FOR THE ENTIRE CAMPAIGN!!!

all you can do is the put monkey photo and pcc photo when your arguement fail.

China's biggest defeat in the 2nd Sino-Japanese war was Operation Ichi-Go 1944. the Japanese armies notably took 30+ cities in Henan, Hunan and Gunagxi. at the end, the Japanese thought of making one last big effort to conquer Chongqing, China wartime capital to win the war. it is said they changed their mind at the last minute when they believed that the KMT best troops including the Y-Force, General Du Yuming will return from Burma to defend the capital.

China big defeat happened because CCP Mao Zedong sold KMT military intelligence through spies Li Desheng / Pan Hannian to the Japanese military command.
