Is there any link or conspiracy with the recent killing of Malaysian militant Noordin by the Indonesian security authorities over the stealing of Indonesian cultures by the Malaysian? Afterall some Indonesians have volunteered to go to war with Malaysia over the incident

The reactions from both sides didn't seem to be very friendly?

Indonesia:

The Malaysian government and Noordin Mohammed Top's family have requested his body so he can be buried in Malaysia. We will give him back to them.
Noordin's head was shattered by an "explosion".
Noordin was also shot in the side of his body and leg, he said.
Intelligence officers were on alert for possible retaliatory attacks as the country prepares to celebrate the Muslim Eid al-Fitr holidays.

Malaysia:
Malaysian Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein expressed regret over Noordin's death.
I am sad that we did not get to rehabilitate him .
(sad over a murder; rehabilitate a mass murderer?)
I am sad because a life is a life," he said. (So many other lives killed, or going to be killed, are they not lives?)

These abang-adek rivalery and jealously hopefully does not spill into tiny red dot.

Already our northern neighbour has claimed that the chicken rice, chilli crab, hokkien mee, bak kut teh, fishhead curry, and fried rice that we eat belong to them.

The next thing our southern neighbour will claim is that the air we breathe belongs to them. Evidence : the haze is in Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei originated in Indonesia!

This 7th month indeed has many wayangs to watch!

Imho, think you read too much into both. One's a terrorist being put out with a firefight, and the other has to do with emotive reactions

Malaysian police simply shoot them Indonesian robbers, Chinese or Indian robbers in a hail of bullets. No questions ask. If Malay robbers, they have a "life", cannot kill. Hisham will be very sorry and "regret".

One is a terrorist who started a firefight, the other is a 'firefight' slowly turning into terrorist acts of a unmanagble proportion; if left unchecked.

We might see a CONFRONTASI REDUX....don't play, play!!

Whats new, they kill each other everyday even if own race..... knn......:oIo:

Think the world (and circumstance) is quite diff from those days with vested political interests in play (or stoked) by indon leader then.

My point earlier was to disagree on interpreting the linkages between the 2. But nationalism in some places can be lead to fireworks
